it’s easy to use the RER B line to and from Charles de Gaulle Airport. Just allow enough time for the return. Trains don’t always run on time and may be so crowded that it is impossible to even push your way on.

You pay for and catch the train in Terminal 2 at Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). Use the automatic dispensing machine or buy from personnel selling train tickets. Look for “Paris par Train” signs and follow instructions. This video will help if you’ve never visited Paris and are a little nervous about using public transportation.
